Webinar Description

In an April 2023 MSIM webinar, conventional recommendations for assessment of cardiac ischemic risk were reviewed and discussed in light of the medical literature.  These recommendations, which are estimated to result in statin use by 40% of American adults, were contrasted with a dietary and supplement-based approach.  In this webinar, Dr. Arthur Agatston will discuss using recently available coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) in personalized assessment of coronary artery plaque and how it can identify and be used in ongoing assessment and treatment to reduce risk of cardiac events.
